Rich man is talking to his poor friend.
Poor man asks rich man, what did you get your wife for Christmas? Rich man says, I got her a set of diamond earings and a Mercedes, so if she doesnt like the earrings at least she'll like the Mercedes.
Rich man asks poor man what he got his wife for Christmas. Poor man says, a hair brush and a dildo. That way, if she doesnt like the hairbrush, she can go fuck herself.

Yup. Then you get a person who knows how to kick, and is so ridiculously fast with it that it's never seen. The dojo is for practicing premise, the street it a different story. My ankle is broken because my kick connected in a safe way. If it were the street it would have been the bottom of my foot, and certainly not to the head. I know if I can connect with another black belt, that a lay person has no shot. Period. 100Lbs or 300lbs the knee only requires 16lbs of force to shatter.

16 lbs....I thought it 14.5 lbs. :p
In my training (body guard) we were schooled to inflict massive amounts of pain very quickly. Have taken out an instructor of the arts in a street fight..I can say it is very effective.
Just saying be careful...there is always someone that just might have the edge over you. Confidence in your own ability is always good...I'm sure you are the best at what you do.....but one wrong move against the wrong person can be deadly.

In my training (defensive tactics) we're trained to train people to kill people. I know more well than anyone here if I can crush someones skull with a kick, then a kick the the leg is devastating, lethal in the right spots. Again, dojo is for premise.
There's zones for strikes, a kick never goes above the waist, and a hand never goes below the waist. If their head is below your waist, kick away. You get the picture, i'm not new. In 21 years i've been fucked up in every way imaginable.

A kick is great, till you come up on someone who checks your kick and breaks your leg. Maybe someone old school who was taught not to let on about their training, and they catch you off guard...
Fighters say size doesnt matter, and big dudes say kung phoey doesnt do shit. The reality is, they both matter. Look at the best UFC fighters, theyre big AND they know martial arts. Thats no coincidence.
Glenn is a big dude, and I have no doubt he could fuck someone up within an inch of their life.
And Guy, to have deadened nerves, he must have had enough practice to be able to fuck someone up just the same.
Moral of the story, youre all bad mother fuckers, but now a days guns arent hard to come by. And size and kung phoey dont do shit from 30 feet away. So take it easy you mongoloids, before my shotgun wielding mom blows a ten inch hole in you :)

Right, and that's why I spent so much time focusing on defensive tactics with a specialty in close quarters combat and weapon defense(i can't stop a bullet but I can increase the likelihood of stripping the gun before it's pointed at me). A kick is just a tool, just like a punch, like an elbow, like a knee, like a head butt, like a shin like a, like a, like a. Knowing when and where to use the tool is what makes a person dangerous. Not doing something because there's risk of it being stopped is a no no. I've caught more peoples arms than kicks. It's like saying don't throw a punch because someone will break your elbow.

I've been stabbed in the face, not a fun thing.
All I was saying from the beginning was that just because it's not ideal doesn't mean you don't practice it in the dojo. I would never kick someone above the knee on the street, but that doesn't mean I should'nt train to kick to the head. In fact I don't fight on the street at all, no fun fighting a person who cries when he tries to punch you and ends up punching something else when you move.

I've only sent one personn to an ER, not on purpose, and hey, he was trying to take my coke. But mostly I'm nothing but peaches, love and sunshine. Anti-confrontational in the Buddhist sense.
The biggest problem I see with real street fights is that you don't know dick about shit. You may be doing just peachy with when dude, and then poof five of his friends with bats turn the tide. . . let's say.
Vettezuki's approach.
Don't go to stupid places with stupid people and do stupid things.
Amazing how far jus this goes!
Always deescalate a confrontation, walk away, whatever. Who gives a fuck if some dipshit loser thinks you're a pussy.
Beyond this I carry some nasty pepper spray. I'm not interested in fighting. Ok, maybe one in 10,000 can take pepper spray and still be trouble, the other 99.999% are going to be real preoccupied real fast. You can carry it almost anywhere without trouble, unlike a gun, and it doesn't present other problems . . . like accidentally killing other people.

It's a Netflix original series about nasty washington DC politics (politicians fucking each other up, so I kind of like it!) It seems to be based on an old BBC series with a similar basic premise.
Kevin Spacey (Francis) thinks after many years of dutiful service he's in line for Secretary of State. Except he gets passed over for internal political reasons. From there, he basically goes to war.

Potassium is critical to nerve/muscle function. Skip the sugar water, eat a banana and go to bed!
If you need a little bump and are otherwise ok, caffeine mmkay.
Beyond this, if you're chronically tired, you need to do an audit of what the fuck you are doing. If you get it right, you should wake up ready to kick ass, then kick ass, get tired, then go to bed.

Its potassium sorbate, not potassium. On a side note, do you know what happens when you put concentrated potassium in water? A he he heee
It goes boom. You don't eat raw potassium, it's always in a compound for that reason. What exactly do you think your digestive tract does?
But yeah, agree. Speaking of getting tired, how do you have a real job and stay up till 3 every night?
I'm exempt status. My performance is measured by project output, not clock punching. I typically show up on campus 10-11 and work there to 7-8. No. It's not normal.

It irresponsible to drink and drive, and it's even more irresponsible for someone with my training to drink and, well, be. I have lethal knowledge in my head and i'd sure hate to drink and wake up in shackles because I killed someone unintentionally. Oh and it's a poison, bad for your body, etc etc.

It seems you associate drinking purely with wreckless and irresponsible behavior. That's kinda sad. Some of my happiest moments are dinners with colleagues in Japan at the end of long difficult projects, pouring drinks for each other; getting a little buzz on and enjoying lots of conversation.
With precious few exceptions, anything is a poison in large enough quantities. This is described by the expression, "it's the dose that makes the poison." Alcohol in moderation is fine. In large regular amounts, it can massively fuck up your liver and brain. It's also one of the very few drugs (yes, drug) that can kill you in withdrawls if you just stop "cold turkey". It is severely chemically addicting. That's true. This is one of the reasons it's a comical farce that pot is illegal. But I digress.
However, combined with the antioxidants and resveritrol of red wine, moderate amounts indicate net positive health benefits. (Moderate drinkers have the longest life spans BTW, though disentangling all the reasons why is not so clear.)

Thats because reducing your proper judgment and getting "buzzed" is irresponsible. I don't need alcohol to enjoy moments in life. Everything I do is uniquely my own, I don't need something to enhance them nor do I need something to numb them. The only "alteration" of mood I use is natural, gym, fighting, art etc. This will remain, I do not need a stimulant of any kind.

PS, if anyone is about to say that they dont like strippers, I will just assume that youre trying to look good in front of your lady friend. And its ok, I understand. I will TRY not to think less of you.

On that note, what the hell is gender identity other than a reflection of what we see in the mirror? I think transgender people are just messed up in the head.
I dont feel like a man, I dont feel like a woman either, I feel like me. I like cars, lifting weights, hate sports, hate beer, and I like to fondle boobs. I mean, wanting to fuck girls obviously isnt gender identity, because some girls want to fuck other girls too... so you cant say thats what makes me feel like a man.
So I guess my point is, hobbies dont define your gender, and neither does sexuality. So if I dont feel my gender gene deep inside, how do transgender people? Do they really feel different? Or are they just fucked in the head sexually and want to surgically mangle their genitalia for some self-richeous fucked up fantasy?

If you want to say a transgender person's naturally occurring neurobiology affects their self-image and is incongruous with their sex identity (morphology: male vs. female) and describe that as "fucked in the head", then there's not so much to argue about other than your not so sensitive choice of words. Bottom line, they can lead perfectly happy and fulfilling lives by aligning their gender self-identity and sexual morphology. Changing morphology is trivial compared to changing the underlying neuro-biology (which is not all that well understood, and may simply be impossible). But by refusing to align them they create a situation of misery for themselves.

No, misery and conflict are not necessarily equivalent terms. Suffering would be closer. It's an interesting question, but one of semantics really.
If the rates of depression and suicide, especially among LGBT teens is any indication, misery is probably the right word in their case.

Cont. So basically, the reason we identify with a certain sex is visual, sexual, and cultural. So we should exclude sexuality, since not all gays are transgender.
So we're left with cultural and visual. Visual, well no, transgender people arent born looking like the opposite sex, so that cant be the cause of their feelings. So cultural? Thats whats left. Can a desire to wear dresses and drink pina coladas really be strong enough to make a guy want to cut his dick off and grow boobs? No.
Its a combination of factors that makes us feel masculine or feminine. But most of those factors arent strong enough to cause a need for a total flip flop. Look at Richard Simmons versus Clint Eastwood. Simmons is about as feminine on the male scale as it gets, but he doesnt want to be a girl. So feminine cultural preferences and sexuality arent enough to cause the want to be different. Simmons mainly feels like a man because he LOOKS like a man.
So since transgender people dont identify with what they see in the mirror, what is the cause of their feeling this way? Its beyond visual, beyond cultural, beyond sexual, whats left?! IMHO - Psychological trauma.

There is your sex (male vs. female).
There is sexual orientation (which sex(es) you like to have sex with)
There is gender, which is a psychological/cultural phenomena, but related to sex.
There is no "sex identity" since you're either male or female (leaving out hermaphrodites, etc.)
There IS gender identity, which crosses between what you are and what you think you are. That's the issue. When they don't match, you have a problem.
The harder question is why do people think they're something they're not (in a physiological sense)? Well that probably has both physiological foundations itself (brain function) and metaphysical/cognitive issues interacting.
My simple answer is that so long as people are not harming others, which I define pretty narrowly, I would not act against them, but accept them as they present themselves. This is key. My only "warning" is to explore that it's not a cover for something else. You can't step back from sexual alteration, especially male -> female, and it would be tradgedy if it was really something else that was eating at you. For this reason, I think it's generally good/safe advice to avoid sex chang operations until full adulthood, which is mid twenties or later.
These are my opinions and arguments, based on my imperfect information.

I agree with your break down of it. This paragraph above is what Im trying to get at mainly. What are those physiological causes? And if gender identity is a thing, what cant I pinpoint it myself? Can you?
Two interesting things I learned tonight that made me question my position:
First, my lesbian friend indicated in this conversation that her gf kinda sorta wishes she was a guy. A lesbian that Ive been hanging out with for years (Im friends with her too) is... I guess verging on transgender. This makes me wonder how many gays out there feel this way, and maybe cultural choices and sexual preferences have more to do with gender identity than I realize.
Second, she pointed out that without having felt "it" myself, its difficult for me to single out what a gender identity feeling is in the first place. It may be sub conscious and taken for granted.

This shit is WAY the fuck complicated. This and other issues is why I think it's a good idea to default to "do as though wilt, harm no one." I just don't know. So what's best? People living happy fulfilling lives, free from self-induced suffering seems like an inherent good.

This is a 38, the head is a smaller diameter than the shell, so that it can fit into the shell. Some bullets flare out, like a dick head, and become about the same diameter as their shell.
If I were asking about a 38, the answer to my question would be no. I figured Ben would know since he handles bullets a lot.

Caliber is diameter. .45 means .45" wide. Different bullets (the actual projectile) can have different lengths for a given caliber. Total cartridge length (casing + bullet) can have very slightly different lengths for a given application like .45 ACP (typical handgun), but not much since it relates to how the cartridge feeds.
Why do you ask?

I need to fix this pump that uses obsolete ceramic pistons. I had a 45 shell lying around and it fits perfectly. I was thinking if a 45 bullet was the same diameter (at its widest) as the shell, than I could use a bullet (without the shell) as a replacement piston.
But if 45s look like that 38, being a smaller diameter than the shell, it would be too loose.

Sorry to disappoint, but Guy is Norman French for the ancient Germanic Wido which goes back into Pagan Germanic times and is related to the element "Wood"
http://www.behindthename.com/name/guy
Guido is Italian for Guy though. So naming you Guy after grandpa Guido is sensible enough. But it appears to have nothing to do with the idea of "warrior".
