My buddies at the ford dealer charged customers less then what they billed ford for, sometimes they'd bill for multiple visits on a single repair. Colley charges about 2k for a complete cab pull and replacement to a customer. When they bill it out to ford they charge full book time plus additional expenses. He said it usually comes out to around 5-6k when they bill ford. Not sure how it works for an outside shop though.

I never trust anybody that likes or works on Fords I worked at Toyota for 7 years...They nickel-dimed everything.

Extended warranty plans pay regular rates for work at the independent shops.
