I like it, sans the wipers and mirrors of course.

I'm with Bird. Mirrors need to go, seams need to go, door handles need to go.

I'm no airbrush artist, so those reptile stripes need to be vinyls. Don't know how successfully we can clear over vinyls that large. Def would want to try a test panel.

The vinyl that it would be printed on would not be than thick. We could try it. I think the snake skin could add a nice subtle look to the paint. I am voting on filling in the grove on the side of the car where that plastic pice was. I can agree with the Mirrors and wipers but I like the idea of having door handles just in case.

Another vote to fill the molding.

The issue with the vinyl is not the thickness, I'm worried about clear adhesion. With a small vinyl, or lots of holes in a vinyl design, the clear doesn't need to support itself over such a huge area. With smaller stuff, or more points of contact, kinda sticks to itself.

This thing still has wipers? Thought we were building a race car. When do we install the subs?

Questions:
- Uh, how does one get in the car without door handles of some kind?
- What about using a vinyl as a stencil for airbrushing the snakeskin pattern?

Statements:
- wipers will be gone for sure
- no real objection to filling the section where the molding was
- not sure about mirrors, I actually kind of like them, but I'm not married to them
- no real objection to blending in the front/rear bumpers and I can see enkei is gonna whine incessantly if we don't, sow he's volunteered himself for that task

Suggestions:
- try one large straight stripe with snake pattern
- try one large wavy stripe with snake pattern (like a snake moving)
- for striping on side, don't care for words RX-SNAKE with logo directly above. If it were purely a graphic logo, wouldn't mind (a la Cobras), but both start with RX

Think we'd need something called "sign painters mask"? Like stickey paper. We draw out the pattern, two or three hours afters after spraying the base we lay it on, shoot intercoat, before it dries, peel it off, spray clear.

Ben, so far it's mainly your dime and Joes, so if you want to paint the car pink I'll spray it. But I'll give you my thoughts on what that suggests about your sexuality while I'm doing it. It's your call, but I reserve the right to express my opinion expressly. So suck it.

I have no problem molding in the bumpers by myself, that shit is fun. I don't enjoy doing tedious sanding especially in tight places like molding recesses, door jambs, or the entire interior.

I'll lay the glass, form the bumper and mold the shit all by myself if you want, no problem with that.

If you didn't I'd never listen to you. And aren't you the one with the Costco size jar of Vaseline next to your computer and many questionable pics on your MySpace page . . . you know, before your account was deleted.

I'll be delighted to provide as much fun as possible.

The front bumper will be a bolt-on level part. You can mold it in. I'll do what I can with the rear bumper until you're free from all that fancy book learning.
