At least that's the plan. After a couple months (that was fast) of sitting, I fired it up tonight for the first time. There was a little explosion in the engine comparment. That was exciting. I guess there must have somehow been a little pocket of gas that came out of the fuel line when I first removed the injectors somewhere.. Then there was the battleship smokescreen coming out. Not quite sure what that was about, but at least the injectors are all seated, nobody is spraying gas all over the manifolds . . .that's good. It's still missing like an SOB, which I was kinda sorta hoping has a bad injector. Well, the tune still needs to be reset so I'm just gonna take it one step at a time.

Is it throwing any codes?

No.

So we got the tune reset fairly easily. Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem. We did narrow down the problem, and if Fing sucks. There is apparently some sort of wiring problem between the ECM and the coil pack subharness. Packs 2 and 4 aren't firing. We swapped out packs and harness with basically brand new ones (from his project car) and same problem. so I'm getting the schematic from my harness (it's custom) and we'll have to do a continuity test next. :suicide:

I don't have a lot of time (or presently, money) to dick with this stuff, so it's kind of annoying. I wanted to have it ready for Palomar, but that's doubtful at the moment. Ah well.

That sucks. I hate, more than anything, trouble shooting electrical issues.

That sucks dude. Good luck getting everything back together. Electrical issues are such a bitch.
