Default Leedom vs. Chuck

Today I might have seen Chuck in his PPE modified 2003 Duramax Diesel race Leedom's Mach 1, and it was pretty close actually. Leedom is clearly ahead, but Chuck is having his tranny built for over 850hp and 1200ft/lbs of torque. I'm trying to get him to get the Level 10 upgrade before the track this weekend.

For those trying to figure out the chart, Level 10 would mean:

Stock 300hp+425 for 725hp total and stock 520lb-ft+620 for a total of 1140lb-ft

Yeah, it turns out 1140ft/lbs at the crank is still something to get excited about

Yeah, unless we're talking 50% driveline loss it's still kinda a lot.

Okay well glad and sad to say that today when I stopped by PPE to check out progress I learned that the original reason for taking my truck in (leek in transfer case) was just a loose bolt. Thats good and bad because now it seems I am just doing a $4000 upgrade when the trans was fine to begin with. OOPS!

Ehhh, you were going to need the new tranny eventually. More importantly, are you going level 10?

I talked to him about it today and he said the best he could do is $300 so I don't know. What would you do knowing my position?
