Default LM1 vs LM2

So what's the difference? Is the LM2 worth the added cost?

Now that I've got my '68 fuel injected (with wide-band o2), I've got an LM-1 with the added timing module (LMA-2) for sale if anyone is interested. Used less than 1 hour total time. $350 for both shipped. Gary

Actually, the LM2 comes with the RPM converter included in the basic kit. And I can buy an LM2 new for about $30 more than the LM1 with the RPM converter, so it looks like I'm going with the LM2.

Have one on order. One huge leap closer to being a self sufficient tuner.

I've seen it first hand, went to Superior Automotive, they sold me a 'dyno tune' for $180. They said over the phone that they would adjust the carb (AF ratio) and set the timing. I thought that I was getting a good deal.

Roll in there, they do one dyno run, print me out a piece of paper saying that I had a 14.5:1 AF ratio, didn't touch my timing (and I know it was off, I didn't fool with it because I thought they were going to) and sent me on my way. Left there with the same lean stumble and poor tune that I had going in. Then they try to tell me that my AFR 195 heads (best SBC street/ strip heads out in 2005) needed work and that my cam needed to be degreed, they said that they could do it for $2,700. Yeah... suck my d*ck.

$180 for a dyno run that took them 20 mins... F*ck those sons of bitches.
