Default I'm done with the LSAT.

Congratulations. Why don't you become a tax lawyer and help me shelter my massive profits in off shore accounts some day? In the meantime I'll work on the massive profits bit.

I can think of few things more dull than tax law, but we will see. The first year is all standard cirric. After that I figure I'll have a good idea what type of law I'll want to pursue.

I got my bill for Spring tuition yesterday. $17K, but once the scholarship "goes through" it should bring it down to $13K a semester.

I'm kidding about the tax law bit, though you certainly could get some high power clients if you're any good at it. Intellectual property law is pretty important stuff and is only going to get more critical in the coming decades. I think it's a bit more interesting than tax law. I think you'll do well at whatever you choose.

You seem real confident. You can always take it again if you don't perform to your needs. Heck, I've taken the Level II Japanese Language Proficiency Test twice and still haven't passed. But Imma gonna buckle down this year and give it another whirl.

The headbanging was more directed towards standardized tests in general. I've been taking them since 1st grade.

I feel very confident going into the test. I've read the Princeton Review book for the 2009 exam and done several practice tests that show me being right on par with my goal score.

With my GPA and a solid GMAT score (plus several great letters of rec) I shouldn't have a problem getting into CSUF and CSUB (CSUB especially as I know the MBA director as a previous professor of mine). I'm applying to UCLA and NYU just because it can't hurt to try.

I applied for and won the Friedman Fellowship for Grad School on a whim, didn't think I had a chance. So yeah, never count yourself out.

As for standardized testing, it's not a perfect system for sure, but heck if I know what a practical alternative is for the same function.

I agree. You have what it takes. In this case that is a good thing.
