Pickup-truck makers have suddenly discovered Alaska. Renault named its new pickup after America’s 49th state, and now Chevrolet has slapped the same moniker, “Alaskan,” on a version of its Silverado HD pickup—and one-ups the Renault with its grizzly-bear graphic.
