Default Car and Driver dynos multiple GT-R's...

and it turns out they're underrated. Here is the article. Basically they really make about 520hp.

Are these the ones typically running 11.8~ at 116~ now days. Mmm, curious. Wonder what the ones trapping at 124 were putting down.

Still an amazing car, but I still think there was some hocus pocus going with the media fleet.

While I understand development cars and varying engine controls...

"GT-R No. 2 was 0.6 second behind the No. 1 through the quarter, and GT-R numero tres was a disturbing 1.1 seconds slower. Again, we didn’t have enough time to dyno-test those cars, but it seemed clear that the first GT-R was likely a one-of-a-kind rocket"

Who is to say that the car they dynod last wasnt just another oddball car? "This one, allegedly, was a production version with the latest—and final—engine calibration" They never bothered explaining that the previous ones werent? Still never going to be settled until we see private owners at the track wringing these out....cant wait to see one say...middle of March? I have...plans.
