Default BMW M1 Prototype

This is a supposed picture of a prototype for a BMW M1 taken in a hanger in Spain. Pretty cool looking I think.

Is the source known? Is that at least from BMW? As for the car itself, I think it's pretty cool. I see it as a mix between an R8, a DB9, mixed in with some BMW styling cues namely the front (most obviously the grille).

PS? bleh, i like it. Even if BMW did say the M1 name is a no-go, too much attached to the original M1. It would be like Ford putting the Mustang name on an upscale pinto, or Chevy resurrecting the Impala as a FWD V6.

Oops.

If they made an upscale Pinto that looked anything like that . . . I'd buy a Ford.

I like it, the actual M1 mockup they had for that nostalgic ad thing wasnt even as good looking,

big B should consider hiring whoever made this design

I like the first M1 mock up ALOT! The lines are pretty awesome. As for this picture....this is just too futuristic to me. We're not ready for this yet
