Well my friend just bought one to go with the Ford gt in his garage. Took me for a ride in it OMFG it was great awesome car he said he will drive it more then the gt cause its more user friendly when you have to park next to someone lol but yeah here are some pics for the zr1 and gt. warning pics where taken at night.

Recap : Originally the vette emblem was supposed to be crossed flags, checkers and an american flag. Just before the car was due to be shown to the public the folks at Chevrolet found out it was illegal at the time to put the american flag on a commercial product. In their search for a replacement, they went through the coat of arms of the family of Louis Chevrolet, took the Fleur de Lys, and put it on there instead. Long story short, its there because Chevrolet's family had a french symbol on their coat of arms. Dont say the french never gave you anything.
(Louis was technically Swiss, i believe, but grew up in France )
