Humm. Did that once. car was limited to about 140. A instructor passed me in turn 2 like I was parked and I punched it to try and follow him - no he was gone. Was able to hold at the rev limit all thru the front straight.
Those guys are so good when we went around in the van the driver is looking back at the passengers and going thru turn 3 at 90.
