So now all the sudden my 360 is displaying everything with a yellowish tint and sometimes doesn't display anything at all. I've tried different tv's and inputs with no avail... It's looking like its time to hand it over to Microsoft, anyone had experience with returning merchandise to them or their customer service?

Yeah, I returned mine and got a new one. It wasn't that bad. Call and request a box. Follow the instructions, drop it off at a UPS, and a new one will show up in a couple weeks.

No, you keep the hard drive. I suggest not calling them on a Monday or Friday. Budget at least a half hour too.
Yeah I took care of it today, the lady was a mess and didn't speak English, hard to understand and repeated the same information two or three times. Your right took about half an hour, now I just gotta hope I get it back in one peice.
If it's a consistent color problem and you're using the RGB/ component cable it could be the cables. Try switching them before you ship it off. Any RCA cables will work despite what you may hear, it's all copper wiring.
