Default Drove a Ford Edge today.

Today we began looking for a replacement vehicle for my wife as her 2001 Ford Escape is getting pretty old. After hearing so many good things about the Ford Edge (even from Consumer Reports), we went and test drove one. I have to say, I was very impressed. The fit and finish is very good and it's really quiet inside. The 265hp V6 has plenty of get up and go and the 6 speed auto also seemed to be excellent. We came away so impressed that now we're just trying to figure out what color we want

well, we actually "like" appearance wise a lot of other cars, but when it really came down to it money wise American just seemed the way to go.

We could afford some high end luxury vehicles but when it really came down to the maintenance, repairs, and other such items, it would be a nightmare. Plus with the edge it comes with a 6 year 100k FULL warranty. Something that we wouldn't have to purchase outside of the actual vehicle purchase (about 1k roughly).

It's just a good choice for us and where we are in life. I can't wait until my vehicle arrives They've gotta find it at auction first.

It's so much better than my POS. Don't get me wrong, it was a good car while it lasted but now it's to move on.

I went with one of my friends last year to check one out when she was looking for cars. I must say i was surprised as well about liking it. The interior is quite comfortable and well laid out.
