Default Hooker Headers for an LS Motor

Summit has a set of Hooker Ceramic Coated LT steel headers (1 3/4" diam, 3" collector) for an LS under $500, which seems pretty good. They also have a shape that looks like it has a better chance of working in my C3 chassis. I've heard so much on headers I get confused. Do you get much for the money between say these and something like Quick Time performance, or American Racing Headers?

I run Hooker Comp ceramic coated headers on the Chevelle and I love them. I used to have the regular Comp version but when I built the 454 I bought the ceramic ones and I wouldn't buy headers without it ever again. The 1 3/4 primaries should be good for your combo too. Are they 50 state or do you not really care?

Are they long tube headers? They cost power difference aren't that high <30 hp. But the other headers are around $1500-1600.

They are LT. The American Racing ones are up around a grand I think. LG headers are the Gucci ones.

They're 49 State Legal. Guess which one isn't? They have the AIR hookups, I should still pass the sniffer once warmed up, that's what I care about, Mother Earth. As for CARB, they could die in a fire.

Thanks for the heads up they're a decent quality product.
