Default Coil Overs... on a Neon?!

Yup. Found a set lying around, and I think I can make them work on my Neon. I'd just have to drill out two of the perches for the struts to fit through them. Does anyone have a big drill press?

Why?! Because I can. And if I lower the car I'll get better gas mileage.

Is Adam trying to make the Neon fast? ...No, don't worry. I'll do this after the paint job on the Vette is finished.

You should check the spring rate before you put them on. They might be too stiff or too soft.

Is this the same Neon you custom designed cylinder deactivation for?

Don't think I won't do it bitch.

I was actually thinking the other day about how I could trick the system to lean out. If I drop the fuel pressure, the computer would eventually compensate for it. So I was thinking, If I found out some info about the resistance of the 02 sensor, I could replace it with (or switch over to while driving once warm) a resistor of a slightly higher or lower value. And once I have my LM1 I'll know what's going on.

Neons are notorious for being rich. They're in the 12:1 range at WOT I've heard. I want to lean this bitch out, as much as I can without getting it too hot. I see 35 mpg in my future.

When are those supposed to arrive? Do you think you'll have them on by the next track day in December?
