Default Another new member, Turned ot this site after saturday.

Hi meet some people at the Canyon/Fuddruckers run on 11/28.
Had a great time. Loved the fact that no one really cared what you drove, as long as you loved your car or was out ot have a good time. (thats how the car fun should be).
Everyone was easy to talk to , everyone was polite and just great, i really enjoyed the atmosphere.

My name is HUGH, im 33, married 3 kids. (13,12,10)

I drive a Mazdaspeed3, love it. not out to beet anyone at the track, was a fast fun car, that will hold my family, and more, and still be a fun car).
And im a DORK for this but i also drive a 150cc scooter for work. yes i will mod it fo rfun cause cant leave things alone. but mainly go tit for 75mpg, and saving miles on my car.

My MS3 with my bros MS6 (i had ot for a year while he was in IRAQ).
Mods are

At Mazfest at cali speedway. Track si also open to anycar after all mazdas sign up. So if soem are interested to run the RoOval on the track, ill put a linkup cause other cars of all sorts sign up and go.
F2 CAI, Slotted rotors, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, balance shaft delete,, oil pan baffle rear sway bar (all from F2 im there prototype car)
Turbosmart Dual port blow off valve,
Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs
In development and finishing, F2 FMIC, and 3"CBE

So far i have like 50-75 bucks invested in modding my car, (little paint stuff i had discolored cast metal parts). But all those mods the shop has paid for.

And yes this is my dorky scooter.
Since pic, i have painted the rims black in the centers, cut out the gear case to expose the clutch bell for better cooling. NEw exhaust comes in today.
Futur plans are 170cc motor upgrade, new ignition, CDI, variator, clutch, intake and carb. and soem others.
Ill have to get new current pics fo both vehicles.

Sorry fo rhte long intro. BUt everyone was cool on Saturday., no matter what age you were. Its a change form the high school weekly meets. lol

P.s. I was driving the Black mustang GT (96) on Saturday. shop has my car its the loaner i have.
Hoope to see soem more meets soon.

When the motor was new it woudl go around 55mph, it seams to top out around 45-50 now. So the modding will begin.

Welcome aboard. My DD is an 02 Protege 5 and my wife's car is an MX-5. Kind of a Mazda fan. Say, do you live in Fullerton?

One of my more "exotic" ideas was to make a billet 50cc moped motor and run nitro methane.
