Default Corvette wins again!

Corvette won first GT2 vistory today at mosport. it was shocking how difficult passing was between the Corvette, the ferraris, the GT3s, and the M3s. It was a great race to watch. Definately a huge improvement over GT1 from a fan standpoint.
The Mazda LMP2 entry blew its rotory engine and lost the LMP2 championship.

Is it still the C6R with a heavily restricted and weighted car, or is it the C6 wit an LS3, etc.?

It's a whole new car with the Zr1 body. It's a much closer representation of the production variant than the C6R. It has a 6.0L block with two convergent divergent nozzle intake restrictors. They estimate it at 475hp.

I didn't watch ALMS this year. Is GT1 gone? Is Aston Martin out?
