Default Baby On the Way Gets New Wheels

Well, with the baby half way here, my girlfriend and I decided it was time for a bigger vehicle. Pulling a stroller and groceries out of a Mini Cooper or Chrysler 200 can be a hassle. Since attending the LA Auto Show we really liked the 2014 Jeep Grad Cherokee Overland. We got it in white with the indigo blue/jeep brown interior. Its a 4x2 with the 5.7L Hemi. Didnt see a need for 4x4 when 90% of my driving is on city streets. So far I love it. It has a buttload of options, rides smooth, handles well and it pulls pretty hard for a 5000lbs suv. Bring on the strollers and diaper bags.

I like them. And the new 4Runner too.

Should have for the Ecodiesel! I love the new GCs, I would get one but it would be very tight fit with 3 car seats in the back seat. Great choice none the less, makes me jealous.

I thought about it but with the price of diesel vs the mpg difference and in real world driving, there arent real savings there. Its perfect if youre gonna actually tow with it but i know im not. If i ever do tow something the Hemi should have enough grunt. Still the new ecodiesel is really cool.

Nice car man. It's really sweet. More importantly congratulations on the new baby. Get some sleep.

Congrats on both the new ride and baby. When we were looking to buy a new car before our son was born we looked at the Durango, Explorer and Grand Cherokee. In the end the better value/features for us was the Explorer but the wife liked the Grand Cherokee more.

Thanks Leedom! The Explorer is also a very nice and capable suv. I really like the new ones. You can't go wrong with either. I really liked the design and features of the Grand Cherokee. Also I've a had a very good experience so far with my Chrysler so it lead me back to try another Mopar. Sorry Chevy. Lol

The service ive had from different Mopar dealerships gave me a sense of loyalty to the brand. The dealership i bought my 200 and JGC from have always been super friendly and helpful. Shoot, i even went back today to sign a new contract because even almost a week after we bought the Jeep the financing lady still got us a better apr at 2.9% Last week I took the 200 in for a cel I was getting for a misfire in cylinder #2. I dropped it off at 8am, they replaced the head reflashed the transmission for better shifting and I had the car back by noon the next day. That's pretty fast for that amount of work from a dealership and it wasn't the one I bought my cars at either.
