Default Fucking shit

Well, I am getting married this April. My "wife" and I are paying for it. Some things are just fucking incredible. We went to look at invitations today at a little shop in La Jolla. They no shit wanted $2500 for 200 invitations. Sarah got online and found a much nicer product for $750. It just really pisses me the fuck off. More importantly I may have to substitute in on one of the deploying units which would result in the lack of my presence at my wedding. Yup, shore duty is not shore duty without being forward deployed.

Preach on brother. When Shannon and I got married I really did not get too involved in it. Fortunately her parents were paying for it so I did not have to worry about it, but when I found out what our photographer charged... I was blown away. Not only did he get paid well for his time but when we went to get our Wedding Album he wanted $50 a page over our standard 24 page book. For the book Shannon set-up we would of had to pay an extra $1k for. Our wedding cost about the same as what I paid for both my truck and Mustang (both used). Weddings get crazy expensive real quick. I caught a few clips here and there of some of Shannon's "wedding" shows and people were blowing $30 on a dress!

Sarah has been great. We are having the wedding and reception on base. That saves us a ton on location and catering. However, there are going to be a lot of people +200.

My wife and I spent $3k total for about 50 people or so I suppose. That was in 96' and included everything, location, flowers, pictures, catering, dress, tux, rings etc. It was simple (no bridesmaids or groomsmen) but lovely and I'll always remember it.

We have a customer whose sister spent two million ($2,000,000) for two daughters and three weddings . .

Well, the single most expensive was just one million. The other daughter got two weddings at 600k and 400k respectively for her first and second weddings.
