I noticed the cars with manual transmission were in the rear for the most part.

There was an R8 (R8=Gallardo). The ZR1 should have been there. It probably wouldn't come in first, but it would be ~6 mph faster than all the other cars.

In that its a hideously styled computer on wheels that uses electronics to be fast regardless of driving talent? yes. Fast? unquestionably. A home run? eh....

Any bunch of monkeys can build a merely fast car. A car grandma can get in and be fast around corners, now that requires some technical ability. To make that car reliable and sturdy is another level. To do it at a price that is a fraction of the cars it manhandles means it's fu**ing Godzilla bitches.

A little better head to head 11 ZO6 vs. 12 GT-R. In a straight high speed run the vette is gonna be the winner (I think). But it's pretty clear, for real world sporty street driving, in factory trim, the GT-R is no joke and a serious value.

The ZR1 should have been in there over the Z06!!!

The ZR1 does a Quarter mile in 11.2sec...so it should have been neck to neck with the GT-R.

And I know this race shouldn't be taken seriously lol...just like the video Vette posted lol

I doubt those were professional drivers in those cars.

I'll take a vette over a GT-R ANY day. Why you ask? i like that i can have parts available in an hour, i dont have to pay through the nose for machine work, not to mention, the corvette is oh so much sexier
