Here's my instinct.
Slit his belly, and hang him up with his own guts, with a sign dangling from his feet describing his crime. But that's the Roman in me. Probably this qualifies as "cruel and unusual punishment."
I'm actually not sure how you deal with people like this in a civilized society. Can you reach them so that they understand just how screwed up what their doing is? Sadly I'm skeptical.

Personally, I think that we are too easy on criminal offenders. I am the eye for an eye type. Stick the teenager on a movie style ejector ramp (not sure if that is what it is called) and toss the kid about 20 ft at about 10 feet off the ground. That might make more of an impact on him then jail oh and cut off his ability to reproduce!!
