Next time, I'll be there with one of my outdated push rod motored rides

LOL, I love pushrod motors. The LS1 Camaro I had would pretty much stomp on any normally aspirated Mustang built in the last 20 years, and got pretty good gas mileage as well. Cobras are awesome though, I love my current car. The next car I'd love to own though would be a C6 Z06. For the money, there aren't a whole lot of motors better than the LS7

The C5 Z06 is lookin pretty sweet to me. Think I might have to sell both my cars and pick up a black one. Oh wait, I'm poor.

Z06s are great. But, at the shop mine was parked next to a 07 Z06 and everyone was looking at mine and going "wow how cool". Hardly anyone looked at the 07 Z06.
Keep your C3 -paint it if you have too- and it will always out cool a Z06.
I keep telling you Black Primer is the way to go.

It's true. A dialed-in C2/3 has some appeal the later Vettes just won't have, especially here in CA where you don't see many, but see a ton of the C5/6s. There have been times when I thought, wow, I could have an X for what I put into my C3, then I start it up and take it for a drive and I don't feel that way anymore. The solution . . . get both and drive which one your feel like that day.

Here's a scenic video of the cruise. Nothing to sporting, but gives a flavor of the day.
