Well, you know I love to play Devil's advocate; I'm very good at it. Some people say that's because I am the Devil, but I just think they're sissies.
Anywho, people who call you from around the world are a different class relative to their societies than the ones who call you from the states. Anybody who can be doing a Camaro restoration in Europe, or even Australia has at least a) some means, b) some ambition. Here any dolt can fall into a muscle car project.
I'll say this though, some places definitely have a higher average intelligence, or general knowledge than others. I'd say Boston is quite up there. One of the best conversation I ever had was with a British cab driver who drove me back the scenic route from Milton Keanes to London. A very bright older gentlemen who had a charming way of referring to me as a colonial. Apparently he thinks NA is still an English Colony, but other than that, very sharp.

Yes, It turns out that was what he was after. But, he started out with that question. They don't think out what they are going to ask. They just start out talking and I have to figure out what they really mean. It's just sad.
