i still cant believe brand new fusions are going for 12.5 grand, at this rate i say ~20K for the SHO should be perfect!!

out of curiosity, if the government took the bailout money and rather than giving it to automakers said
"anyone who buys a car from ____ (insert gm/chrysler etc) gets it for, half price, up to a $20K maximum per household" wouldnt that pretty much skyrocket sales/production and stimulate the whole industry without giving the bosses a chance to take the money and run?

I guess i just want a brand new c6 for 23 grand but whatever, just a thought.

You mean like a voucher? Mmm, that's actually one the more interesting ideas I've heard. I don't like it, but it's a lot better than a frantic capitalization of bad organizations with money that doesn't exist. . . .

Drop the price of an Escort down to the price the 1971 Pinto used to be and I'd buy one. None of these cars are worth what the car makers are asking, even at 1/2 the price.
