Good job Adam! It's probably a good thing you didn't use my tires because that would have put you in the 13 range on all three passes and you might not have won.

To be fair he only ever ran it at Fontana. For reference C6Zs were only ever running 12s there as well. And I"ve seen a bunch of them. Makes me wonder what Ron's Cobra and Chevelle would run at a good track? Low 11s and 9s respectively? Probably. It also impresses me further about the GT-R, which seems to run 11.8@118mph pretty much regardless of where it is at. This means it's running at its envelope in a huge array of environments.

Yes to the chevelle, not so sure about the cobra, maybe .10 or .15 faster but he's about at its limit currently with weight and power. Which is what makes the car so impressive is how well it performs for being a pig.

And for the sake of shit talking, i stand by my cobra comment

I don't think the Chevelle would pick up much on a better prepped track. Maybe a lower elevation one. Listen to the launch in the video of my 10.01. You can hear the tires grabbing. The 60ft on that run was a 1.493. I think my best 60ft ever has been a 1.47.

You know what's in the works for the Cobra so you know I should be able to better my 11.69 @ 119. I might even have it done by the time they re-open Fontana.

I dont remember enough of the chevelle to be sure. As for the cobra I was talking about your last combo. I agree you should pick up a few tenths before the block splits.

Our cars should be neck and neck in a run, similar weight, "near" identical engine combos and almost identical suspension. I wont know final weight until i'm done with the sound deadener but i figure we'll be within 100lbs. Curb weight on a GT is 3430, I weigh 190lbs and added about 100lbs of "interior" who knows what the seats weigh over stock and the stereo will add quite a bit too. Should be fun, we'll likely be even on HP but you'll have the torque advantage.

My car weighs 3442 and I'm down to 187 so we should be real equal.
