That's a factory color, looks way cooler in person.

Subaru has a beautiful dark gray metalic that I wanted for our new Forester. Black is over-sold, something like Graphite or the Subaru gray is more dramatic.

Imagine this, but with the black stripe following the contours of my rectrangular hood scoop, not the thin 82 hood bulge. And you know... shiny. With a deep gloss black and a brilliant sapphire blue. And my wheels, stance...

Yes this is my brainchild.

I did something like that in the early eightys. I did mine with primer ( of course ). I always liked that look. It's tricky to do. Color and shades have to be perfect or the vehicle looks lumpy.

i like. the way the center stripe fades tapers out to meet the base color at the back reminds me of the old Baldwin Motion cars. Go for it.

Here's a better version of the two tone, although the back tail isn't black like it would be. But this has the stance and similar wheels.

Those C5 wheels look better on a C3 than I thought they would. Mmm.

Here ya go Ben

I don't think I'm going to go with the two tone, I've been considering one solid stripe down the entire car (yellow or sapphire blue) on pearl black.

You see this is why I would never get a tattoo! I can't stick with a decision for more than a week!
