Alrighty boys and girls, we have a whole new ball game on our hands.
Hwy 2 just (literally 20 minutes ago) opened up all the way through. There is no need to turn around. I will map a route and test it, but we'll probably stop at the same place for a break, then continue on through and come return via Azusa.

That is AWESOME news!
Any mention of if you guys are stopping for lunch at that same place you did last year? Or are you just going to plow through? I think maybe a potty stop for those who need it might be in order...or should we just line it up over the edge of the cliff? JK |

No lunch at Newcombs. There are restrooms at the top where I still think we'll stop. Plenty of pull offs where you can do your business au natural if you need to.
