That's Google at work. They don't "know" anything, just matching apparent patterns. "I got a speeding ticket" = <insert ad for fighting speeding ticket>
Conceptually it's not complicated, but man it must be a lot of work. Now some of the stuff the Military Industrial Complex is working on is getting ever so closer to Skynet on a daily basis.
