Don't even get me started on Fowler, I think the world of them, I don't think that they are high compared to the level of integrity that they maintain. If you think that they are high, go try their sister ship. Fowler's are good people, they're very helpful without making you think that if you don't buy something within the next 2 minutes, they won't serve you. Their sister ship has a serious 'tude problem. and they, well, we will continue this conversation at a later time & place. Fowler's treated me right every time that I have visited them, the other place did not.

I took the WC Classic SG to the range yesterday and put 15 rounds through it.
All reloads, all 3.4 grains of old Hercules Bullseye backing a 185 grain button LSWC. The gun functioned flawlessly. 5 rounds through one of my old Metalform mags, another 5 rounds through another of my old Metalform mags, and the last 5 through the Wilson Elite Tactical Mags. I not only love the gun, I also love the ET Mags. I only tried one ET mag but I could not believe how smooth and effortless the magazine was to load. Now I need to order some of the ET mags with the metal plate floors. It was really a great experience. It even improved my shooting somewhat. My hats off to WC and their gang for developing such a fine firearm and mag. I am running a 14 lb spring in it currently, which is what I am running in my Baer & Hoag longslide. I only wish that I had money for another. It would be.........? I dunno, but I would love another.

Thanks man. If I bought a gun right now my wife would shoot me with it. But I won't be poor forever . . . I think.
In other news my brother is about done with his AR.

The few times I have been in the stockaid, I have had good experiences. So I can't really say anything bad about em. But I do like Fowler and its closer.

Even though they are owned by the same, they are run totally different. Ever compare prices at the 2? Even the prices are different, and Fowler's prices are definitely cheaper. I asked at the Stockade once to see some Dillon Calipers. They advised that they were out of stock on the $28.00 Dillons, but they had some $58.00 RCBS in stock. When i asked Fowler's if they had the Dillons in stock, they replied "No, but we'll be happy to order some for you". They didn't even try and push me towards the pricier ones. Fowler is much farther for me, but they are friendlier, cheaper, and not so pushy. I cannot say the same about the other one from my experiences with them. Fowler gets my vote.

I live with my wife. Anyway, it's no problem with me having toys and playing around, it's just prioities. Ain't scratch in the play bucket right now. That's all. Plus friends and family are armed to the teeth, so I can go out and snap off some rounds for giggles without a big cost. When I get into it, I will do it like I do everything, OCD style.
