I don't think you could go wrong with any of the cars posted. I must say though I think it's interesting that nobody has even mentioned the Viper. It's kind of sad to me that the Viper went from pretty much one of the baddest American cars ever made in the late 90's to not even mentioned now....

Its my ideal woman in car form.

Oh, and vipers need to be vaporized. Overpriced and bulky. Eww.

S7 gets my vote, but I agree with Von. That GT is (was) a beaut!

Default Viper?!

I agree with you Sean, the viper was talked about once upon a time as a great american muscle car and now has pretty much faded into obscurity. Hell any car that can spawn its own TV show has to be around for a long time, yet the viper has pretty much faded away.

Why did you note post one of these Sean... Like big, bad Ben I am biased on the Ford products but anything with Shelby on it has to be mentioned. It may not be a high production car but it should be mentioned.

Default ressurection

Haha thanks to fordfreak for bringing this back up top, my post about the vette was feb 1 07, 13 days before i bought the C5! Awwww i feel all warm and fuzzy inside

But, since we're talking about it how about the bugatti killer?

Its sad that vw spent all that money to make the veyron with their 'we lose money on each one blah blah' and all the hype and what not, just to get stomped by an american...at what, like 2/3 the price...

Oh, yeah so turns out when i came home last wknd, i popped the hood and took off the plastic cover and noticed there was oil leaking from a rubber elbow. I was like wtf is this, my dad said, wtf is this and he soon discovered the rubber elbow was heavily degraded. I went out and bought a new elbow, and as i went to pull the tube to put it on, we discovered the tubing was degrading in multiple spots and as i "inspected" the whole damn thing came off...

Turns out the entire PCV valve+ hosing is a single mo-friggn piece for my car so i couldnt just buy it at kragen, i had to call around to dealers (turns out its a special order product) but luckily chevy in westminster had one which they sold me, so ultimately, we replaced that crap and now the whistling sound and the smell i thought was exhaust leak related is gone (so problem fixed...for now)

my car's still slow tho.

Ahahahahaha! J/K

The Mosler MT900, this car gives me the chills. You don't want to know the things that I'd do to own one of these.

Link to a bigger picture.

And Sean, about the Vipers, if you don't consider the Mosler to be a real car, as many don't, my next pick would be the Hennessey Venom Vipers.

Default Gtm

I'm not a big fan of superlatives, and when it comes to aesthetics, they are usually pointless assertions made by simple minds.

So here's my vote for some great contenders.

Factory Five Racing GTM Supercar
Yes, it's a kit car. The kit is $20k and with the additional required parts will range between $30-$60k total. At the upper end, they can be shocking hi performance cars.

Another beautiful American Made car, even if it is a boutique maker, is Panoz. I'm partial to the GTLM.
