Isn't putting eggs in the radiator an old trick for sealing pinhole leaks. Oh man, imagine the onions and eggs smell if you combined these "remedies".

Ground pepper. I still do that. Alot of Cat mechanics do too. I sealed my son's head gasket with it. I have also cured weeping new freeze plugs with it. The pepper harmlessly stays in suspension, but when a fiber finds a hole, it wedges in and expands when it hits air. It only needs to hold 16PSI.
