Sounds more like a rod bearing to me, listen to the double knock and the rpm. Either way it sounds like $$$$.

Ya I started to look up stroker kits

Looking to go to 383 with a 10:1, and keep the maggie if I went with a 402 I would have to upgrade the supercharger and that is not in the budget right now. I'm hopeing for 3000$ for parts and labor.

You didn't say it sounded like that! You just said it was giving you trouble. Your rod isn't about to crap out, it's already crapped out. What did you do?!

I wouldn't fire it up again. You don't want to cause any more damage.

Yeah, stroker kit it up. Cam it while you're in there.
