New clutch and flywheel will allow me to up the boost. That should allow me to be around 350whp or so. I cant wait for that!

Boost, because sometimes atmospheric pressure just isn't enough.

Just an update:

Car was running fantastic, just installed a Summitracing oil filter relocation kit and fixed a couple minor oil leaks. Took it for a drive and went over a set of railroad tracks and the timing belt jumped (interference engine). So now I'll be pulling everything out and putting a newer set of heads on it along with some new gaskets here and there. I'll also be installing the new clutch and chromoly flywheel. Should be all done by the end of June. Can't wait! 12psi, here I come!

Interference engine means that if the timing gets out of whack, there is insufficient clearance for the valves...basically they hit the tops of the pistons if its not all synched up as it should be. Timing belt jumps = no more valves.

That's what it is, and it sucks.

Bummer about the timing belt. Nice MPH on the first one. You're good for high 12s @ 108-110 mph I bet When I was rotary my 1/8 mile speeds were about 86-87 mph... 1/4 speed was about 108-110. I did manage one pass with 112+ mph (and 13.7 ET, yeah I suck). Couldn't ever break 13s because I can't drive worth a damn! It's all in the 60'... At the time my car weighed about 2800 lbs w/o me in it, about 290-300 wheel-hp.

How much does your car weigh sans driver?

I finally got everything pulled out yesterday and began tear down today. Valves look descent (not going to use them again or the same heads), but I did find out what was causing me to knock like crazy after I put everything back together:

Location of missing piece is still under investigation.
