If you prefer Ford, go and rent or test drive a Ford Escape. It's a lot bigger than the HHR but does not handle like a SUV at all, it feels/handles like a car.
Sean is going to have a field day with this one... I hate the Escape, blah, blah, blah, blah!

Hell, price range is usually a mute point for me at the dealers. I work on the monthly payments and the "down" (or lack of one).

But, I'm thinking $12,000 for a LOW milage one. But, that is subject to change at ANY time. I figure my credit is good enough for that.

But, the question is; Does darlene deserve this?????????

We might need a poll created for this one.

Alway a FORD guy. But, I talked to a guy at one of the shops by me and he has had his HHR for 2 years and over 60,000 miles. 0 problems.

I will look at the Escape, just for heck of it.

You won't be disappointed. The car rental place used to have Blazers and Trailblazers that I often rented, then when I got the Escape for the first time I was amazed that a car that size can handle so good - compared to the Blazer the Escape is a F1 car

I asked Throttle Crazy about them when I was over there tonight helping him put his 383 together. He said that he's only had them in for a few small thing but that they seem to be reliable. I don't hear that often from him so that means ithe HHR would be a good buy.

Hey, Thanks.

We looked at couple of used ones last night. One was a 2006 with 14,000 miles. Pretty clean. They wanted 12,999 for it.

Then we looked at 2009 LT2 for 24,000 +.

Now the SS is a possiblity we are looking into.

So let me see which way we are going to jump, then I'll take you up on your offer. Thanks again.
