What did she run in the 1/4? I was on Cal Speedway roval last year and there was what I think either white or silver one that was incredibly fast... he must have been going well over 100 on the decreasing radius turn on the roval (counter clockwise config) I was going about 80-90 and he just blew by me repeatedly... which is scary and takes a lot of HP. Turbo cars are so awesome when it comes to making more power... just up the boost and add more fuel... as long as the rest of the drivetrain can stay together

I haven't run it on the 1/4 on the current setup. It ran, bone stock with a mild tune, 13.8 at like 107mph if I remember correctly, in Tucson, AZ last year when I was out there for work. The way I have it set up it should run easily into the mid 12s with a competent driver... IF and that's a big IF you can hold traction. It should cross the traps at like 115+ since most of the speed comes after the 1/8 mile for me (after I get traction).

There are 2 limiting factors in a Cobalt SS when searching for traction. #1 the wheel size factor which will not allow true slicks #2 its FWD so the weight transfer off the line is pretty poor.

Hence, the cobalt is a beast on a road course. I believe the guy you are referring to is named David. He wrecked his balt at Fontana last year if memory serves. He would rip up Fontana from what I understand. His was silver with green brake calipers I believe.
