I was wondering about some of this and that makes sense.
What is done to keep multiple hands of one entrant separate, otherwise, it would be rather easier for one person to assemble a stronger hand against the pool. I mean if one person bought three hands, and the rest of the pool bought one, but he could assemble one hand to play from his three, his odds of winning are obviously higher than 1/number of entrants and intuitively I think it would be higher than his proportional buy in (e.g., 3/number of entrants). In other words if the hands aren't kept separate, you would be buying an advantage over the average buy into the pool. . . I think.
