I think I have the Cobra in much better race form than the last time I went. Leedom and I re-adjusted the clutch a couple weeks ago and it's made a HUGE difference. It was so tight that it was hard to get into 1st and Reverse sometimes and may explain some of my bad shifts. We've also replaced the stock blower belt with a much better one and the slip problem has be cured. I think with a good pair of sticky tires and some ice I would have much better luck

Internet excuses...love them. I myself absolutely suck at drag racing, and have the wrong car for it. Top end and twisties tho...

Hey all, I'm still alive. Been real busy with work at what not....and modding the SHO a little more. I have full exhaust now and I won't pass smog .

Welcome back. What exactly did you do to the exhaust? Remove cats? no mufflers? do tell!

I bought an old SHOShop y-pipe, and catback. The cats were gutted, and since I can't afford cats at the moment, I just left them that way. So now, I have 2.25" pipe coming from the manifolds, going into a 2.5" catback, with magnaflows. Makes a nice rumble at idle, and after it warms up, it sounds great at WOT.
