hmmm ive never handled an lm2 before hell i just bought an lm1 a few weeks ago lol.

but hmmm ok if you see a setting for ford and gm and all that try to find one for mitsu or chrystler, because the 420a is a mitsubishi/chrystler engine.

but here is what i could find as far as the online manual

4.6 Check Vehicle Trouble Codes on the LM-2

1. To view your vehicle trouble codes press and hold the Mode button to go into the
Configuration Menu Screen.
2. Select OBD-II and press the Enter button.
3. Select “Get DTC’s”. A list (if any) of error codes will be displayed on the screen. To
see the specific meaning of the error code, select it and click Enter. Click Enter
again to return to the list.
4. Press Mode or Cancel to exit.

4.7 Clear Vehicle Trouble Codes on the LM-2

1. To clear your vehicle trouble codes press and hold the Mode button to go into the
Configuration Menu Screen.
2. Select OBD-II and press the Enter button.
3. Select Clear DTC Codes and press the Enter button.
