Shift-S3ctor Airstrip Attack
Some friends were participating in this event out in Coalinga, CA. Took a view videos of the fun stuff as well as some pictures (which will be uploaded tonight).
Fastest car of the day was a GTR which did 204.5 in 1/2 a mile. The Ford GT which I was lucky enough to get a ride in was putting down 720 to the wheel. It was a real blast to get a ride in that car. Same owner which was under fire over a crash with a BRZ in his white McLaren a few months ago. Seriously one of the nicest guys I have met.

How much power is the GTR putting down to run 204 in a half mile?
What ever happened with that crash. I remember reading it on here and I think Carlos was there the day that happened.

Well the day before they were running on 1240rwhp and they only ran 198. The next day they only said that they upped the boost. That's all the information I have but I'm sure it had to be significant.

I was at Cal Speedway and saw the aftermath of the crash. The BRZ was fine, but MC-12 was destroyed (hit wall). It turned into a big internet shit show. Don't know what ever came of it.

Oh, that is what you were talking about. To be honest, I am not sure what happened with that and I wasn't about to start asking him questions. I am sure it was settled.
