Land Rover has substantially updated the appeal of its middle-child
Range Rover Sport at this year's
New York Auto Show, giving the model a new look, a new powertrain and an optional new third row. Functionality abounds.
As we outlined yesterday, the 2014 Range Rover Sport can now be had with a 340-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, for an opening price of $63,495 in SE trim. Start ticking options boxes on the Range Rover website, and you'll end up with a 510-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V8 mill at the heart of your $93,295 Range Rover Sport Autobiography. No matter how lushly you specify your Sport, however, you'll now have the ability to haul two more small children (or unhappy, normal sized adults) in the optional foldaway third-row seating.
We've got
live images of the 2014 Range Rover Sport, fresh from the floor of New York's Javits Center, for your approval. Browse at your leisure or
scroll down for a second pass at the Land Rover press release.
