Default Re-Doing the Front Leafs

So I'm fed up with the crap the guy before me did to the front of my 88 trooper.

I now have a question about how to mount the springs. Right now the front I loop on the spring is lower then the rear (causes clearance issues)

Should They be level or should the front be higher then the rear?

My plan is to cut off his front cross member and install a new one about 2 inches higher and 3 inches forward and brace it correctly. (extending the frame as needed) Also plan on using isuzu rear springs in the front. and leaving it shackle forward.

Can you take a picture of how it is now? I don't remember what it looked like when we modified your leaf pack but I remember memtioning a bunch of things that you should change. Also, can you measure the length of the current main leaf (center pin to front eye, center pin to rear eye) as well as the main leaf that you are going to use to replace it?
