Default Nissan 370z

I'll have to reserve judgement until I see it up at the LA Auto Show, but I'm not feeling it so far. The back end is pretty nice, but I can't get used to the arrow headlights... I think I like the current Z better. Thoughts?

I don't hate it. I have to agree with you that the lights are a little crazy for me. The car looks kind of like a Porsche to me, look at the hips and the general outline of the car. Interior is interesting but I do not know if I really like the pods above the Nav and having the RMP dead center and not your MPH

Definitely taking cues from Euro-design, and I think it's pretty cool. Putting the revs in the middle is a race car thing.

Well for hte Nissan fans it's going to be lighter and more powerfull than the currnet 350z so that's a good thing. Demensionally it's going to be smaller too.

Dr. Porche would be proud of his new offspring! Actually, I think it's a better looking Porche than Porche actually makes.

I dig it. They did a great job with the car, poor job with the interior on the 350. Doesn't feel like a cockpit, feels like I'm sitting in a lowered truck.

I don't like the current one, so I consider this an improvement.
I would still never pay money for one tho LOL

Nissan definitely got this part right, props to them:

"Addressing poundage (another significant complaint about the previous-gen 350Z), Nissan put the new car on a serious diet. Paying close attention to the little things, engineers dropped several hundred pounds off the curb weight compared to the outgoing 350Z. The svelte standard model with a 6-speed manual now tips the scales at just 3,232 pounds (the 2008 350Z Enthusiast Model was 3,575 pounds). "

With the lower weight and more horsepower, I think it will probably be able to outrun a Mustang GT....
