Few weeks ago i had the cobra drop a cylinder, turned out to be blown out threads on the driver side for one of the plugs, after a quick heli-coil insert problem solved. Well...this one wont be so easy
On the way home from work had the car start overheating, got it home before it hit 3/4 of the way to hot. Once i went to refill the system, thinking maybe i still had a bit of air in it from the t-stat i changed when i did a coolant flush right before the plug incident, I turned on the heater to get the collant flowing through the core. Turns out i started gushing coolant out from behind the motor, literally as fast as i could pour it in.
Seems to be related to heater on/off, and it is most certainly pouring out of the heater core/evap drain through the firewall, though there is no coolant inside the car and no coolant smell to speak of either. Going to start tearin some things down this weekend and see if i cant get to the bottom of this. Ah, the joys of changing heater cores....
