Gondola maker Leitner Ropeways has teamed up with the bespoke specialists at
BMW Individual, to create a uniquely luxurious ski-lift experience. This tricked out "ropeway" offers comforts that come directly from BMW's
7 Series: heated, massaging, Merino leather-clad seats, an Alcantara headliner, a multimedia system controlled via iDrive and even a spot to stow some champagne. Taking
a ride through the sky can be thirsty business.
What price decadence? For those that get started early, the resort is offering a package that includes VIP parking, a bottle of bubbly, brunch, the
BMW gondola ride (naturally) and more, for 150 euro. If you're more of a late starter you'll have to pony up 190 euro for more or less the same laundry list of luxuries.
