Sorry for being snippy, that was a cool story, I just HATE repeating myself. Probably as a result of chosing a life of arguing... once should be enough.

I'm listening (reading). I understand....yes I do.

One time a guy asked me how fast my Vette was.

I told him "fast enough to get a ticket".

I hate it when girls ask and you give them an explanation regarding acceleration or horsepower and they interject asking what speed you've hit, you tell them then they nod and begin to tell you how they did 125 in their Corolla once and how it is pretty fast. It's all about top speed.

I'm going to start telling people my car is 7 units of fast.

What was that line??

"Two AUs past light speed".

Something like that.

For those that are not into SF--that was from the FIRST Star Wars movie.

125 is pretty fast especially in a Corolla. As for the explanation, it's not about the explanation, it's about sharing experiences.

Some ones on their period. Get this man some chocolate, hurry! I know you had already said that, I was just sharing a story.

The guy use to come up and play full court basketbal with us after school almost everyday. We all thought he was in his late 50's but he wouldn't tell us his age. One day he brought a couple girls with him that were in their 20's and we thought they were his daughters. Turns out they were his grandaughters and they told us how old he was. This was before the fight. His name was Al and he was a really cool guy.

I have every intention on running my car, but only when the conditions deem it worthwhile.

Especially since Ive already put 15k on the car in 10 months as my DD... id like to keep the extra wear and tear to a minimum =(

I'd like to run mid or even high 13's, then I'll be happy. Considering that my car stock(with the stock engine) runs high 14's low 15's.
