I can tell if the turbo is bad, they will do two tests, pull off the intake pipe to check the compressor wheel for play and pull off the downpipe to check for oil. But of course, this guy won't allow my to take his car apart.

Seeing as how the seller said that he would not be paying for any repairs, nor would he cut me a deal on the car, worst case scenario, I'm not in the mood for that car anymore. It has a problem, and it is too expensive to be sold as a problem car. Basically, he would rather sell the car to someone who doesn't know the difference for the full price.

I'm now leaning more towards the first car that I drove, a black one. It has more miles, but is $2200 less and it has a new turbo already.

So... I'm still looking. Also prob going to test drive a silver one this weekend. With a stupid WRX wing instead of the STI wing. I hate when STI guys do that. If I get the silver one, I'll probably end up getting an STI wing with the extensions. I might even do that whichever car I get.
Total bummer. That car looked really promising, but clearly has some kind of issue

Yup thats a 7 for ya'. I can get like 20mpg if I do not get on the gas at all and 15 mpg racin' around but I have an aftermarket ecu and I had my car tuned to get good mileage during cruising.
