I like 'white" also--but not when it glares back at me. Just need to go like a lite shade of blue or green. Even a gray would tone it down some. Do just enough to cut the glare. Thanks for your attention.

1 - Did you have a hangover today?
2 - Is the white on this site, uh, somehow different than the white on other sites?
3 - It might be a contrast issue on your monitor. Because it's surround with black/dark colors, the white "pops" especially if you have your brightness/contrast cranked up. Play around with those settings on your onitor a little before we try to reinvent white.
