I understood the squatting explanation, and it makes sense that control arms will cause the suspension to compress more slowly, but I dont understand the geometry behind it.

For a drag car do you want longer or shorter control arms? Or is it not that simple?

did another new best time..car went 11.89 at 118mph.. 60ft times are still soft at 1.82..i'm thinking thats going to be it for my 60fts until i get a stall convertor in the car.. photo below is of that best ET and 60ft time..

Congrats! Did you run your LCA in the bottom hole? Or did you try the middle one, too?

they are set in the middle.. i dont think the lowe hole would be right for a auto car.. all the stick cars use the bottom hole because of the clutch dropping launches..

1pc alum driveshaft and safety loop order : Check
Circle D 3c 3500-3700 stall converter order: Check
Boss Intake and throttle body order: Look for a used one right now..


hoping to get about 2 tenths out of the driveshaft and about 4 tenths out of the converter.. that SHOULD get me into 11.2's or so.. then if i can get a intake that should push me to 10's.. we will see

i have 8 1/4 tracks i can run at within driving distance.. if one kicks me out i'll just drive to the others lol..
