Generally true, very good insight.

But, first I dont think our back and forth ended with me asking a question, but rather a poignant remark

Plus, the witness response doesnt always have to be congruent with the answer youre seeking. If the question suggests the answer strongly enough, the witness' response may be irrelevant.

I wasnt being sarcastic at all, I was serious.

But there is nothing to learn here. Of course new parts would be better. And a 502 would also be better. And a 557 would be better than that. This is a subjective cost vs benefit argument. There is nothing to learn because there is no correct answer.

Ill clean up this thread when I get to a comp, we've hijacked it.
